Intel Xeon E3120 vs AMD Opteron X3216 APU

The AMD Opteron X3216 APU is newer than Intel Xeon E3120 @ 3.16GHz also around 7% faster in multi-threaded (CPU Mark) testing, but Intel Xeon E3120 @ 3.16GHz is around 5% faster in single-thread testing. However, AMD Opteron X3216 APU uses substantially less power.
