The AMD EPYC 3251 is newer than Intel Xeon E5-2665 @ 2.40GHz also around 40% faster in multi-threaded (CPU Mark) testing, it is around 26% faster in single-thread testing. However, AMD EPYC 3251 uses substantially less power.
