AMD Opteron 6128 HE vs Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3

The AMD Opteron 6128 HE is newer than Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3 @ 3.40GHz however is significantly slower in multi-threaded (CPU Mark) testing. However, it is significantly slower in single-thread testing. Both CPUs operates at simliar power levels (TDP). All the CPUs in this comparison belong in the Server CPU Class.
